Christian Putz, founder and portfolio manager of ARR Investment Partners, was invited by Alphaweek to discuss ARR's investment style and approach. Christian’s risk management process was significantly influenced by the experience of a five year bear market in Russia from 2011 until 2016. By developing the firm's proprietary portfolio and risk management system PARIS, Christian employs a 'quantamental' approach to idea generation, portfolio analysis and trade decisions.
